What to Expect on Your First Appointment

Do not be surprised to fall in love with a dress right away, it happens all the time (and usually the first dress!). We ask you come prepared by bringing the most important person during this experience, whether it's your mom or someone else. Also be financially prepared as we have incentives for your first appointment. 

  1. After your schedule your appointment online, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to our website, so you can browse our designers online.

  2. You will receive a confirmation text before your appointment, so our bridal stylist team can learn more about your personal style and hand pick wedding dresses for you. This is a good opportunity to share any pictures or specific details with us.

  3. We suggest bringing no more than 3 people to your appointment, since we are a smaller boutique and space is limited. We can always set up another appointment to show people the dress you have chosen.

  4. No need to bring heels, because we have a pedestal for you to stand on in front of the mirror.

  5. Bring either a strapless and/or nude bra for trying on dresses. Keep in mind to wear neutral underwear. A hair tie can be helpful for trying on veils and hairpieces.

  6. Please refrain from wearing self tanner or heavy makeup to keep our dresses in pristine condition.

  7. When you arrive your bridal stylist will have pre-selected wedding dresses based off of your style and price range, so you can begin trying on dresses immediately and make the most of your appointment.

  8. Your bridal stylist will observe what you are loving about the dresses you try on and will suggest similar styles until you find your dress!

  9. Yes, it is that easy! You can expect to find THE dress with us in your first appointment.

  10. Be prepared to say “YES!” same day to receive first appointment incentives so we can celebrate with you! (some exclusions apply, cannot be combined with other offers).

**Not ready to choose between your favorites? No problem! With a small deposit in your first appointment, you will still receive a first appointment incentive upon making your final decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start to shop for my wedding dress?

We recommend a bride orders her dress at least 8 months before the wedding to feel comfortable. Some dresses can take up to 6 months to come in depending on how much handwork goes into making it since everything is made to order. Many brides purchase their dress a year ahead of time, just to make wedding planning easier, since the focus and theme is around YOU!

Plus we want to make sure there is enough time for alterations once the dress arrives, which we recommend starting two months before the wedding to cover at least a few fittings with your bridal seamstress.

How much do your dresses cost?

Our dresses range from $1000-$2000, but the average is $1500. We also carry some exclusive designers above $2000.

What size dresses do you carry?

We carry sizes 8-26, with many being a 12 (think street size 6-8). How a dress fits depends on the manufacturer and their size chart, which may run smaller or true to size.

Do you allow pictures?

Yes we do, as long as it allows a bridal stylist to stay on track with the appointment so the bride receives full attention for any questions and options. We are also happy to take a group picture once the bride finds her dream dress!

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, we have two private dressing rooms with comfortable guest seating areas (up to 3 guests per bride) to make your experience personalized with a bridal stylist to guide you along the way. Weekends are our busiest time so we ask you schedule your appointment at least one to two weeks in advance.

Do you ship dresses?

Yes we do! All special orders come to the store for delivery and upon confirming your order is complete, we can ship a dress anywhere in the US. 


Will I need alterations?

Bucci’s Bridal orders your wedding dress to your closest size as possible, according to the dress manufacturer’s size chart. Almost always a bride will need some alterations to make the dress fit as best as possible. 

Do you do alterations in house?

We do not do in house alterations, but we have a list of highly recommended bridal seamstresses! We also encourage the first fitting be made before picking up the gown to avoid any delays before the wedding.

Do you allow returns?

Once a wedding dress is special ordered or sold off the rack it is yours. Dresses sold off the rack are a final sale, but if you choose to not take your special order dress, you will lose your deposit since we cannot return dresses back to the manufacturer. 

Do you carry mothers dresses, bridesmaids or prom?

No we only carry wedding dresses and bridal accessories. With being a boutique, we want to focus all of our attention on our brides and their guests to keep our atmosphere comfortable and intimate.
